Ronica Gordon is a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong foundation in human resources and, more recently, the banking sector. After dedicating seven years to the HR department at the Attorney General’s Office, she transitioned into banking, where she continues to grow, contribute, and expand her expertise. Committed to continuous learning and professional development, she strives to make a meaningful impact as she advances in her career.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ronica has a deep passion for music and sports. She has been playing the steelpan since the age of five and remains dedicated to promoting and advancing this iconic instrument. Whether through performance, mentorship, or advocacy, she actively seeks opportunities to contribute to the steelpan’s growth and recognition.
Born and raised in Tobago, Ronica’s love for the steelpan began at a young age. At 10, her mother enrolled her in Carib Dixieland Steel Orchestra, where she started on the guitar pan before quickly excelling and taking on the tenor pan. She performed with Dixieland for over a decade before relocating to Trinidad, where she continues to immerse herself in the steelpan community. With a diverse skill set, a passion for learning, and unwavering dedication to music, Ronica brings energy and excellence to every aspect of her involvement with the steelpan.

Candice Andrews-Brumant
Captain
Candice Andrews-Brumant is a pioneering leader in the steel pan world, serving as the first female captain of Renegades Steel Orchestra since 2012. Under her leadership, Renegades has secured four Panorama victories in the large band category, making her the only female captain to achieve this feat.
Her journey with Renegades Steel Orchestra began in 1991 at age 15, following in the footsteps of her late father, Edgar Andrews, who played and arranged for legendary bands such as Casablanca and Melodians. Since then, Candice has dedicated over three decades to the steel pan, touring across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, showcasing the instrument’s brilliance on the global stage.
In 2010, she earned a Diploma in Music from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.
Beyond performance, Candice is committed to succession planning and strategic development for the steel pan industry. She believes in nurturing young talent and is especially dedicated to mentoring young women aspiring to leadership roles in pan. She also envisions playing a pivotal role in leadership development programs for children and young adults.
Her humility, resilience, and dedication continue to inspire the next generation of pan musicians while ensuring that steel pan receives the global recognition it deserves.

Cleveland "Ricky" King
Vice Captain
Cleveland "Ricky" King is a dedicated leader and accomplished professional with expertise in construction, engineering, and music. As the Director of CK Elite Construction Services Ltd and Am Hook Promotions Ltd, he brings strong leadership, strategic oversight, and a commitment to excellence.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Cleveland is deeply passionate about steel pan music. For over 20 years, he has led the double tenor section, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and musicianship. Since 2005, he has toured extensively across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and the Caribbean, sharing the art of steel pan with global audiences.
His experiences in music and leadership have instilled in him discipline, responsibility, and a deep appreciation for cultural exchange. Cleveland is committed to both his professional growth and the promotion of steel pan worldwide, bringing innovation and passion to every role he undertakes.

Jossane Kerrice Felix

Jossane Kerrice Felix MBA, BSc., AS., is a Senior Project Officer, Author, aspiring Entrepreneur, Musician, Music Commentator, Brand Ambassador and an avid patron of the arts and entertainment.
Growing up between Trinidad and Tobago and Philadelphia, USA, she acquired her Masters of Business Administration Degree from Andrews University, Michigan, USA. Jossane is a wanderlust and is intrigued by various cultures, the way people live and the systems in place for societies. She has done extensive world travels not only personally or for work assignments but also as a musician while touring with various steel orchestras and as a Board Member while touring with bp Renegades Steel Orchestra (bp RSO). Jossane is also the first, female Tenor Section Leader at the bp RSO.
She has actively contributed to the business, non-governmental organizational and cultural landscapes both locally and internationally. She is passionate about the impact she makes when she assists others to see and discover what the world has to offer so that they could in turn utilize their innate talents and share those talents with the world.

Myckhéal Hosang

Myckhéal Hosang is a seasoned and results-oriented professional with a diverse background in technology, education, and music. A graduate of UWI-ROYTEC and former Student Guild President, he is currently pursuing advanced studies in Computer Engineering at Florida International University. He also holds a Diploma in Theology.
In his current role as an IT Project Manager, Myckhéal leads high-impact initiatives that optimize business operations and harnesses data for strategic decision-making. He is known for delivering results through a combination of critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Beyond the world of technology, Myckhéal is an advocate for the steelpan artform. Having been born deaf in one ear and legally deaf until age nine, his journey to restored hearing through multiple surgeries and therapy fuels a profound connection to sound and a passion for music.
